If you are a vinyl record collector, this is a great place to visit and get very nice music, but here you do not buy just music. I have been back into buying vinyl for about a year now and during that time I have visited all the major shops in the metro. I wanted to wait a year or so before I posted because I wanted a true sense of each shop. That being said, Monkey Feet is my favorite. Each shop fulfills a little different role in the market and if you are an audiophile or a collector, Monkey Feet is the place for you. The records you buy at Monkey Feet are the cleanest and purest in the market by far. They have a tremendous selection, especially if you are looking for original releases or older reissues. If they haven't had a record in stock, they've been able to get one for me, again, in excellent condition. They do have some newer releases as well, but are not the priority. You are generally going to pay the higher end of market value for the quality, but it is worth it. I have found a few gems at other shops but most times I have been burned, paying less for a record hoping that it works out, but far too often ending up disappointed. I am never disappointed in what I get from Monkey Feet. They do have a bargain record section where you can find your $5 record bargains but if it is in the main stock it is generally going to be pristine. The only, and I mean only drawback is that they sometimes require me to be patient. Their operating hours are from 11 to 4:00 Saturday and Sunday. That being said, if you're itching to buy that next record, I highly suggest you wait until 11:00 a.m. this Saturday because your patience will be rewarded.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is unique and has signed memorabilia from some of the all time greats in Rock history, George Harris, Tom Petty and THB's, Kiss to name a few. Ed the owner of MFRecords is genuine and knows some people from the industry. I'm here with John Humphreys the drummer from one of the greatest rock bands of my generation, Seether! He was the most down to earth and coolest kats I've had the pleasure to run across. Thanks to John, Ed and Ed's wife for such a great and lifelong memory. Cheers!
